In the field of renewable energy, BJEC has undertaken more than 700 wind power and photovoltaic power projects, covering more than 20 provinces and autonomous regions in China, as well as Ethiopia, Sweden, Myanmar, Chile, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Kazakhstan, Ghana, Romania, etc. by the end of 2019. BJEC has completed the first national demonstration project of million-kilowatts-class wind power base planning, namely planning of million-kilowatts-class wind power base in Bashang of Zhangjiakou, Hebei Province; undertaken the first nationwide in-situ load testing project of wind turbine foundation in extra-thick backfill mining area, namely EPC project of in-situ load testing of wind turbine foundation for the 100 MW wind power project in Pingshuo mining area.

Over the past few years, BJEC has accumulated rich experiences in investigation and design of wind power projects in frigid regions, complex terrain areas and high-altitude mountain areas, offshore wind farm projects and photovoltaic power projects, including large-area terrestrial photovoltaic projects, roof photovoltaic projects, fishery-solar hybrid photovoltaic power projects, agriculture- photovoltaic complementary projects and other “photovoltaic plus” projects.

EPC project of Adama wind farm project phase II in Ethiopia: the first cooperation project between China and Ethiopia in the field of wind power, the first wind power project in Ethiopia, and won the first prize of excellent engineering design in power industry.
